  • The Washington Post
  • I still think there is more to the story other than the burglary.
  • Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward suspected that the White House had something to do with the Watergate Scandal.
  • The five burglars, James McCord, CREEP's director of security and 4 Cubans, as well as the two White House aides, Gordon Liddy, and E. Howard Hunt were charged  to 2 1/2 years in prison for the crime.
  • Let's just take those files and go!
  • Due to there being many investigations into the Watergate scandal, it revealed that there was something more to it than just a burglary.
  • We haven't done anything wrong! So back off!
  • Bob, Carl and a few others had obtained evidence that showed that the White House officials were trying to get Nixon reelected again in a series of efforts.
  • The White House officials were responsible for doing whatever means necessary to sabotage the Democratic Party.
