The Colorado River is a great place to find weathering, erosion, and deposition
There are sand deposits all along the Colorado River
The Grand Canyon shows a lot of weathering and erosion from the Colorado River. The river has carved into the layers of rock to form the canyon.
The water weathers or breaks down the rock into smaller pieces.
The water moves the sediment down the river which is erosion.
In the places where the Colorado River goes off of a waterfall, the rocks have been smoothed from weathering and erosion.
