Characters: Fudge, Peter, Mom, Dad, Tootsie, Flora and Faunna, Cousin Howie, Eudora, Farley, and Jimmy. Setting: Modern day, New York City. Conflict: Fudge is obsessed with money, and Peter, in 7th grade, has to deal with his little brother. That's when the trouble started.
I want them both! I'll pay you with Fudge Bucks!
Which shoes do you want?
Hi ya, Tubby, I'm Cousin Howie remember me?
One event that happened in rising action was that Peter's parents thought taking Fudge to Washington DC to see money would make him understand money better and not obsess over it. They were wrong. In the gift shop, Fudge told his dad that someone was staring at him. It turned out he was Howie, their dad's long-lost cousin. Cousin Howie and his family end up staying in their apartment.
Daddy, there's a man staring at you!
The climax is when on Halloween, after Fudge, Farley, and Mrs. Osterman get stuck in an elevator, when Peter and Fudge are going to bed, Fudge asks Peter if he is happy to have him as a brother, and Peter says maybe, instead of saying: no, turkey brain!
In falling action, Fudge gives Peter a box with all of Peter's teeth from when he was little, that his mom had kept, and Fudge found. Fudge had lost his first tooth, then actually lost it, and was putting a note under his pillow.
The resolution is when in Peter's room, Peter puts the box of teeth under his pillow and goes to sleep, smiling.
