Soper went to talk to Biggs at the New York Health Department and Biggs a\greed with Soper's hypothesis. Biggs sent Dr. Baker to talk to Mallon. When Dr. Baker came to Mallon's house she was prepared for them this time. When Mallon answered the door she tried to attack Baker but baker moved out of the way and she ran into a officer. Mallone ran away hiding.
After five hours of searching for mallon they found her in a airway closet. Mallon came out swearing and fighting and Baker tried to reason with her and tellher the reason that they were doing this. Finally when Mallon understood she was already being prosecuted.
