The Industrial Revolution is the revolution that caused rapid urbanization. Many came to the cities because of more work. But, things don't seem the way we would think. There were many conflicts.
Many would live in tenements which many people about 10 to 12 people in one small room. Many couldn't afford a luxurious place. It was either this small place or you live on the streets.
Many worked in factories for many hours surrounded by bad fumes. The wasn't that good. Coal was very important and it soon developed into iron by using the coal to smelt. They worked with many machines if something broke they would need interchangeable parts.
Since many weren't okay with the way they were being treated they decided to press for laws that would improve the conditions. Labor unions had won.
The proletariat was the class that had to put in work instead of the non-working class. (Rich people)
Although there were many conflicts, the Industrial Revolution is an age where many things improved, like people getting better pay and getting a chance to live a better life.
