At the beginning of the play , Macbeth is an innocent harmless man who always respected King Duncan and his son as well as fulfilling his duties with ambition and valour
As Macbeth is given thane of Cawdor he is indeed extremely happy and he tells the good news to his wife. However his wife , Lady Macbeth is a very powerful woman so she decides to kill King Duncan .Macbeth wasn't very happy but after her comments on his puniness and unmanliness he decides to do it.
As Macbeth and Lady Macbeth has finished killing King Duncan ,Macbeth goes slightly mad because he has killed someone who he has deeply respected therefore he is unable to recover from this sensational shock. Unknowingly, in this shock, he brought the two daggers back. This shows that he was quite fragile and nice but Lady Macbeth was very rough and powerful.
Macbeth then becomes king with all the power.His best friend Banquo praises him but Macbeth thinks that Banquo doubted him the murder therefore his fragile innocence has turned into a silent murderer with stone hearted feelings.He decides to kill Banquo and his son Fleance by hiring two murderers.Luckily Fleance escapes .
Macbeth tells Lady Macbeth about the second murder which she had not known about. Her face immediately changes from happy to fearful when she realises about the change Macbeth's personality. That very same day, they were going to have a huge feast. Lady Macbeth's power is reduced but Macbeth's power is rising up.
At the big feast they are all enjoying together with all the thanes until Macbeth imagines Banquo walking across the middle of the table with his blood stained t- shirt .His guilt arises as he is shook and paralysed with fear by what he had done. Lady Macbeth utterly devastated by her husband's queer behaviour therefore she commences to make up some understandable excuses. He also sees the three witches.
