  • South Africa Revolution By: Selena De Leon
  • Acceptance The apartheid law said that all the South Africans were separated by race and the four official races were white, bantu, colored, and Asians.
  • Complaining Nonwhites couldn't work or live in certain places because it was against the law
  •                                                  Protest All South Africans of all races protested against the apartheid laws. The ANC was started to fight against white domination. The ANC did marches, strikes and other protests. (Apartheid in South Africa)
  • Revolution June 16, 1976 many black African school children went to go march at the township of Soweto and police opened fire at the them killing and injuring many students. (History of South Africa, 1)
  • Recovery September 1989 F.W. de Klerk got elected to be president of South Africa. He lifted the 30 year ban on antiapartheid rallies and then he also legalized the ANC and the other banned organizations.  (South Africa History and Revolution, 3)
