  • In 1819 Maryland passes legislation demanded taxes on the 2nd National Bank 
  • As the owner of this bank I refuse to pay taxes ! Saying this I am going to court 
  • Being the representative of Congress I accept that we go to court to get this settle out. Lets see who wins!!
  • I refuse to pay taxes 
  • I believe that national banks should be taxed
  • We have gathered here today to discuss whether or not the national government should be taxed. 
  • This case changed everything between state and federal power. 
  • Congress if granted the ability to incorporate bank. Maryland can not tax them .
