- The author begins the story with the two characters "Aneesi " and "Sitt Zeina". Showing that "Sitt Zeina" is Aneesi's boss.
- Aneesi secretly heard that they are looking for a good Syrian stonemason because they are cheaper, and she directly thought about her own father.
- WHAT ABOUT MY FATHER!!!

- Zeina , do you have any idea how what workers are getting paid these days?
- On the other way, the author shows how aneesi's family suffering because the government job is not enough for them.

- The author wanted the readers to know how Sitt maya is careless by showing that she forgot her money on her pockets

- After Aneesi's father is hired , they met there. and he begin to tell her about a guy from Syria whose called Fareed. Aneesi was shocked!
