Storyboard Text

  • I am deciding on what energy source to use and I’m Not sure. Fossil fuels are too dirty and renewables are unreliable.
  • Go for nuclear energy. It is a very clean energy source very reliable too. You can’t go wrong with nuclear energy.
  • Nuclear energy is a reliable energy source to use. You can always count on it to be available unlike things like solar and wind.
  • Reactors operate 90% of the time and the amount of energy being created stays consistent.
  • It doesn’t need a lot of fuel to make a lot of energy. It is very efficient in making a lot of energy with little fuel.
  • The amount of fuel to make energy is less than the amount of fuel coal would need to use to make the same amount of energy.
  • It does not have an issue of taking up too much land.  All it needs is space for a couple buildings and that's it. It doesn’t take up a bunch of acres of land.
  • An issue that is occurring is that energy sources such as wind and solar take up a lot of space to get mass amounts of energy but nuclear does not have that issue.
  • Some people say nuclear energy is too prone to accidents
  • Yes, but most accidents occurred over at least a decade. The more we develop the fewer accidents there will be.
  • Nuclear energy has been a direction a lot of people have gone to and it is a good decision to stay in that direction
  • And if you don’t have nuclear energy it is still a good decision to switch. It is efficient, clean reliable, relatively cheap, and more.
