Cell Theory By Robert Hooke
Hi my name is Robert Hooke I am here to explain my contribution to the cell theory
In the cork slice ( the first example I examined under the microscope) I saw a honey comb like shape which I then named cells
During my studies I discovered a certain structure in a slice of cork which I then named cells
What are cells?
A cell is the smallest structural and functional unit of an organism
With the information I obtained (the cells) is the base of this topic
Why is my contribution important?
Basing information off of other discoveries.
With the discovery of cells that I made More scientists are able to base their information off of mine allowing more discoveries
