The soldier told Salva to go to the group of women and children.
"Over there" *points gun toward women and children*
What if soemthing happens to him?
The group left him behind.
Just leave him behind
he´ll just slow us down.
They were all gone.
"A soldier approached Salva and raised his gun. Salva froze. All he could see was the gun's huge barrel, black and gleaming, as it moved toward his face. The end of the barrel touched his chin. Salva felt his knees turn to water."
While salva was asleep the group left without him and left him behind because they though he would slow them down and use their resouses.
¨Where had everyone gone? Why had they left without him? He knew the answer: because he was a child... who might tire easily and slow them down, and complain about being hungry, and cause trouble.¨
