Abigail and the other girls dancing in the woods and chanting Barbados chants. This is the first scene were we see something unorthodox happening in Salem. Reverend Parris walks and causes the girls to flee.
John Procter Goes Against The Court
Reverend Parris summons Reverend Hale because of the dancing in the woods. Reverend hale is know for is advanced witchcraft skills, and hopes to fix the witchcraft problems in Salem if any.
People in Disbelief in The Court, Abigail Flees Salem
Reverend Hale insistent that Salem is being attacked by Lucifer himself and that since Abigail was once working with him she can help point out other witches in Salem. This began Abigail accusing people at random.
John Procter is Hanged
John Procter goes against the non-sense of the court after his beloved wife is accused of stabbing Abigail. At this time he admits to adultery with Abigail and that the girls are a fraud.
Abigail leaves Salem because there's nothing there to make her stay. After John Proctor is thrown in jail she has no chance with him. She steals all the money from her uncle reverenced Parris and sets sail on a boat to the Barbados. This leaves Salem in disbelief in the court because the person of decided who's evil is now gone.
This is the last scene in the Crucible where we see a big good name in the town be hung with other good names. John Procter, Martha Corey, and Rebecca Nurse. This is a shock to the people because they all have a good name in the town and the people are in disbelief that they sided with the devil. this is where we inferred that the people of Salem revolted after this and gave up on the court. Thus ending the Salem Witch Trials.
