This is Muhammad the prophet, the on that introduced Islam to the middle east.
When he had religious visions, he mostly kept them to himself. The visions were mostly about how Islam was what Jesus and Abraham were preparing the middle east for.
Muhammad began to preach in public because he was unhappy about the situation of poor people in Mecca.
Muhammad and his followers fled Mecca because the Meccans didn't like his teachings. He then started creating the first Muslim community at his house somewhere.
Some time later, Muhammad takes control of Mecca with lightly armed forces. He also defeated bigger armies with his army once.
When Muhammad died, Islam was the main religion of Middle east. So Muhammad was a prominent figure in Islam.
