The Road Safety Unit came to my school today and told me how to use the road. I need to hurry home.
Look right, look left, look right again. Well there is no vehicle coming I may cross the street.
Scene 1: The first scene is an illustration a girl [Joan] leaving school to journey home by herself after been taught about Road Safety at School.
Joan one kyar a come!!
I can't to reach home! I am going to tell my mother all that I learn about Road Safety today.
Scene 2: Joan reaches the pedestrian crossing but first recalls what she was taught before attempting to cross the road.
Mi tiad a dem reckless drivas yaah!. look ow dem kill di pickney!
Scene 3: Joan begins to cross the road but is unaware of an oncoming vehicle. The Honda civic is being driven by a minor, who is under the influence of alcohol.
ONE LIFE IS ONE TOO MANY DRIVE SAFELY ON THE ROAD!
Scene 4: A lady who was across the street realise that Joan was unaware of the vehicle and shouted for her to look out. Unfortunately Joan did not hear and the car hit Joan.
Scene 4: The Lady came kneeling and crying upon realise that Joan died. Other onlookers came to console the lady as they too express disappointment at tragedy.
Scene 5: The next day, a sign post was erected to Warn and Remind drivers/commuters to traverse the road safely.
