Nitrogen in the Woods By: Desiree Lewis
This storyboard does not have a description.
Hi I am a Nitrogen Cell in the atmosphere. I am going to tell you about my journey through the Nitrogen Cycle.
When I was going through the soil, I met a legume plant. The nitrogen gave me some bacteria and it turned into Ammonia. This is called Nitrogen Fixation.
I help with the growth of plants by becoming a Nitrate, through the process of Nitrification.
A cat came along and ate the legume plant that was adsorbed in as a Nitrate.
After a few years the cat that ate me died so the bacteria decomposed the cat and me.So I turned back into Ammonia. This is the process of Decomposing.
Throughthe process called Denitrification.I was broken down into Nitrogen gas by anabolism bacteria. Then back to the atmosphere.
