  • Because of an increase of excise tax on peanut butter, the supply of peanut butter from the store has decreased, shifting the supply curve to the left.

  • Henry's apple factory packages and moves apples by hand. They are able to supply 2,000 apples per a day.
  • Henry bought a new forklift allowing his factory workers to move more boxes in less time. This allows them to package 4,000 apples per a day.

  • Because of the addition of new technology from the forklift, the supply of apples from Henry's apple factory has increased, shifting the supply curve to the right.
