You are all in danger! The Nazi's will be coming soon!
You are in a ghetto
Eli wants to get to know about his faith a little more, so he finds Mosh the beadle who teaches Eli what to think about their Jewish god and what to say if he shows you that he is there for you.
Mosh warns the town of the Nazi invaders and how they will be coming for them. The people of the town do not take his warning to heart and they do not believe that the Nazis will take them prisoners.
The Nazi's reach their town but at first start living in other peoples's houses. Not long after that, they put up a 2 ghetto's in their town, 1 tiny one and a slightly bigger one. Eli and his family's house are on a corner of the bigger one. If your house was not in a ghetto you would be forced to live in a house in the ghetto.
The start of deportation has now begun. Eli and his family were one of the last people to leave their town to go on the train filled with 80 people per train
They arrive at Birkinau, where Eli is separated from his mother and his sisters. He and his father lie about their age so they could survive and stay together.
Eli and his father are in the same block, where they get coffee at breakfast, and soup and bread for dinner. Occasionally, they would get new SS officers to be the head of the blocks, and would beat the workers.
