Tybalt, the kinsman to of Capulet, hath send a letter to his father's house
In Act 1, Romeo and Juliet had just gone through a romantic encounter at the Capulet's party. After the party, Romeo ditches his friends because he doesn't want to leave the Capulet's household. In this scene, Romeo and Juliet, who had just met for a couple of hours are already discussing about their marriage.
In the previous scene, Romeo and Juliet decide to get married and fix a time in which Juliet's accomplice will ask for Romeo's approval. In this Scene, Romeo meets up with Friar Lawrence to get his help for his marriage to Juliet.
In this scene, Romeo decides to go back home to his friends. Before that, Benvolio gets a letter from Tybalt asking Romeo to challenge him in a duel. This letter foreshadows the event which is going to happen in the next scene, i.e Mercutio's and Tybalt's untimely death due to the the duel.
