The equation for photosynthesis is 6CO2+6H2O - C6H12O6+6O2. Plants turn sunlight into energy to make their food that we eat.
Oh my gosh. The equation for Cellular respiration is the reverse of photosynthesis. It is 6O2+C6H12O6-6H2O+6CO2+energy.
Did you know that they are both very similar to each other?
Photosynthesis makes glucose which is used in cellular respiration to make ATP. Then the glucose is turned into carbon dioxide, which is used in photosynthesis.
WOW! They are more similar than I thought.
