Storyboard Text

  • You see, a state of nothingness is impossible, like how a non-being is too. Everything has existed from time, in some shape or form, including our universe.
  • If everything has always existed how do you explain inventions or thoughts. If a person has a thought that they have never had before, how can it have already existed?
  • That thought could have come from another individual too, maybe even from an earlier time, meaning it has always existed previously.
  • I disagree, I believe the only reason we all exist in the first place is due to the constancy of change. Our entire universe is a balance of the opposites, for one man’s joy may be another man’s suffering, for the day will become night and the night will become day.
  • It is if our existence is a circle, full of constant changes back and forth. Change is the only thing that will always be the same, making it a fundamental principle of life.
  • If change will always be constant and around us all the time, then can it mean it doesn’t exist entirely, since we can’t specify singularities within it?
  • We can though, an example I have given before was the man and the river. When a man steps in a river, that river is no longer the same river, and the man is no longer the same man, for both of them are now composed of replaced cells and water.
  • That’s the catch about philosophy, there will never be one correct or true philosophy, as it will always be subjective.
  • I guess that’s true, even for a topic like change...
