One Child Policy China & India
China, known for their high population came up with their one child policy in 1979. Since then, china's population boom started to come to a staggering halt.
But there is another problem that most may not be aware of. India has a large population increase over 1.324 million people vs China's 1.379 million people. While still lower, unlike china's population, their graph is increasing papidly.
With a large population this can effect jobs, wages as well as non-economic things like the environment.
China for example. Has a growing supply of demands. Products like wood cause deforestation of China's exotic forests and chase animals out of their environment. With more people having the desire to live in cities, requires more electricity causing china to have a thick smog that kills hundreds a year.
India with the second largest population, should consider the one child policy. Two people at the current time can multiply easily worsening the environment as smog continues to kill people from hundreds to thousands.
