The relation of the Russian Revolution with World War I is that the WWI provides Russia an irrelevant involvement with the war. This cause massive loss on Russia side without any benefits and sparked a revolution in February.

Tsar Nicholas II was an autocrat with a weak personality. This weak personality causes many gaps on the system and causes the revolution. Rasputin on the other hand, have authority over the royal family.

The Russian monarch system still uses the outdated calendar (called the Julian calendar) which is still 13 days behind from the rest of the world. Then protest happened in February 1917 (Julian calendar, March on updated calendar) due to Russia involvement in WWI. The current Russia system is also fallen behind from other countries system.

There are two major political opposition party during the Russian Revolution which is the Petrograd Soviet and the Provisional Government. The Provisional Government rules Russia after abdicating Tsar Nicholas II. Yet, conflict still happen due to the never ending Russia involvement in WWI until the Bolsheviks which is a communist party that is led by Vladimir Lenin, launch a coup d'etat on the Winter Palace in October 1917 to overthrow the Provisional Government.
