  • It's celebration varies because o the Hindu Calendar, but this year it was on October 30th., Next year it will be on the 19th, and 3 years from now it will be on November 7th
  • Diwali is celebrated by the Hindu, Buddhists, and Sikhs.
  • My Holiday is Diwali, or the Festival of Lights. It is celebrated every year in Autumn in India, Fiji, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, and many more.
  • They pray to Lakshmi, the goddess of fertility and prosperity. Afterwards, they light fireworks and enjoy a feast of sweets, and an exchange of gifts takes place among friends and family.
  • Participants dressed in their nicest clothes, and decorate their house to look very nice.
