Pricing By - Devin Thompson
Hello ma'am... We have this newspaper selling for $1 would you like one?
Hello sir, I saw a stand down the street that were selling for 75 cent, why is yours $1?
Well ma'am, we work directly with the company to ensure they make a bigger profit.
I see now, so the other stand sells it for less because they want to make a bigger profit
Pricing is the price of a product that a consumer can buy. Some places change prices so the store that is selling the product can make a profit
This happens in a lot of foreign countries because tourists are not used to buying foreign things so stores try to make a profit by upselling the product
Stores like Walmart and Target do this also, they sell the same products but have strict contracts to sell them at differenet prices so both stores can make a profit
