The Peapod Man (Eskimo Mythology)
This storyboard does not have a description.
According to Eskimo myth, there once was just the land, water, and sky. However, there was a peapod that a man broke out of.
Soon, the man went down to a nearby pond and took a long drink. Feeling refreshed, he noticed a massive black raven flying down.
No. I do not have any food to eat at all.
Wait for me, I will be back soon.
When the raven landed, he transformed into a man! The raven-man asked if he had food.
After four days, the raven fed him and brought him into a valley where he made two little mountain sheep out of clay.
Then Raven created more animals for man to eat, but also for man to fear, like the bear.
And finally, Raven created a woman to accompany the man and live with him, and all was good.
