There are currently two proven reserves of solar energy. My dad, The Sun, and I are the two known reserves of solar energy. Maybe in the future, there will be another reserve of solar energy.
Global scale air pollution contributes to two main problems in the world - global warming and ozone damage. Earth is warmed by my sunlight, which is needed, but gases in the atmosphere trap the heat. That is called the Greenhouse Effect.
The other main problem from global scale air pollution is ozone damage. The ozone layer absorbs dangerous UV rays. The ozone is being threatened by chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). The CFCs break down the layer of ozone gas, causing less protection from UV rays.
Unlike solar energy, nuclear energy is a nonrenewable energy source. Some people view it as an alternative to fossil fuels. There are many risk associated with the use of nuclear energy. One of the products is radioactive waste which can be lethal to people exposed to it.
Thanks for letting me teach you about solar energy!
