  • The British won the French and Indian war in 1763.
  • Protests in Boston
  • From 1764-1773 the after the British won the war they taxed the colonies to gain money back.  They used the Tea Act for this reason to get money. 
  • War Begins

  • Citizens of the Committees of correspondence formed groups called the Sons and Daughters of liberty.
  • Declaration of Independence
  • DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE
  • The Sons of Liberty threw all of the tea of the British Parliaments so they could protest no taxation without representation this led to other protests later on in Boston.
  • The Revolutionary War breaks out.
  • The Second continental congress made the Declaration of Independence.
