  • Sir! The greeks say that if you come, they will surrender
  • Great! Let's get going.
  • Hey! You tricked me!
  • I don't know. Maybe a bad storm.
  • Oh no. Our bridge has been washed out. How?
  • Battle of Salamis: A greek traitor goes to Persia and tells them that the Greeks at Salamis would surrender if they go there.
  • Spring
  • But instead, the traitor tricked the Persians. As soon as they got to Salamis, They were outnumbered. The Greeks won this battle because they rammed their ships into the Persian ships.
  • Battle of Platea: Xerxes sends back half of his army to Persia, although the boat bridge at Hellespont has been washed away by a bad storm.
  • Congrats, Greeks.
  • Xerxes orders his troops to go back to Greece. Sparta was afraid if Athens would lose, but instead, the two cit.y-states joined forces. So, the Greeks fought at Platea, and the Greeks won.
  • Ha! You are no match for us!
  • At the same time, the Greek ships were fighting the Persian ships in the Aegean Sea. The Greeks rammed their ships into the Persian ships to win.
  • The Greeks receive the Victory
