- I was walking in our neighborhood and I see a stack of money lying on the ground. I look around and a woman is walking a few feet ahead of me and she is the only person around. I faced with the choices of I'll pick up the money, or I'll leave the money, or I'll ask the woman if the money belongs to her? My Id, Ego, and Superego will all make very different choices in this scenario.
- Woah, she dropped a bunch of money! I should keep it.
- Id
- EXCUSE ME! I THINK YOU DROPPED THIS!
- Superego
- After some internal debate, my Ego, and my sense of reality, tells me to pick up the money and call after the woman. If the money is hers, I am doing the right thing and if she tells me that the money isn't hers, then I get to keep the money.
- Excuse me miss! Did you drop this?
