  • Well that’s tough because I live in a big house built of stone and marble. Thick walls shut out the noise and dirt of the city.
  • I live a small house that has rats with diseases and bugs
  • I eat chunks of fish along with some asparagus and a fig for dessert

  • I have special appetizers. Some of my favorites were mice cooked in honey, roasted parrots stuffed with dates, salted jellyfish, and snails dipped in milk.

  • my poor children in Rome were sent to work instead of to school
  • I get tutored by my fathers, or often by slaves, until I was about six years old.
