Wow! What an amazing meal
Maybe that's because you had low blood sugar
It was so weird. Before dinner, I felt so groggy and light-headed, but now I feel fine
When your blood sugar is low, your body activates glucagon (effector) since the receptor signals to the brain (control center) that it's low
So then the brain signals for the receptor to release insulin?
What does that have to do with it?
This then brings your blood sugar levels back up to normal as an efferent respon
The effector the signals that there's too much sugar in the bloodstream, and the afferent pathway signals to the brain
Well what happens after I eat?
Correct! That's the basics of a negative feedback loop
