The play opens up with the two servants of the opposing households arguing and starting a fight, the prince comes and warns both families that if there is any more arguing they will be exiled from the city.
What about Romeo?
We are introduced to the setting, which is the city of verona, the two main players of the story, the Capulet family and the Montague family and the two main characters Romeo and Juliet. We are also presented with the main person vs person conflict, which occurs between the two families.
One rising action is when the Capulet's host a party and Romeo shows up in the disguise of a mask. He sees Juliet and instantly falls in love with her. Next they talk on the balcony the night of the party. They then decide to marry each other and get married within a few days on the decision. Tybalt is killed leading to the exile of romeo.
The climax occurred when Paris proposed to Juliet, Juliet denied the proposal but was then shortly forced into the marriage by her father. The friar and Juliet devised a plan to get her out of the marriage: she would take medicine that made her appear to be dead. Next she takes the medicine and appears to be dead when the Nanny walks in during the morning to get ready for the wedding.
Will you Marry me?
Romeo is misinformed about the situation back in Verona so he buys poison to kill himself next to his wife. He travels back to Verona where he is met with Paris, he kills Paris and then breaks into the tomb and proceeds to drink the poison and drop dead next to his beloved wife.
After Juliet awakens to find her beloved romeo dead before her, she proceeds to kill herself so she can be with him forever. Then the families apologize for their mistakes and try to make up with each other, instead the families decide to build a statue of their children, to commemorate Romeo and Juliet.
