Storyboard Text

  • There once was a wise man named Prospero who lived on a deserted island with his beautiful daughter Miranda. Prospero was once the Duke of Milan until his evil brother Antonio stole his dukedom and cast him onto a desert island. Luckily, Prospero's close friend Gonzalo nourished the father and daughter with food and supplied Prospero with all his magic books as he then became a powerful sorcerer. The existing inhabitants of the island also aided the two castaways. One was a dazzling fairy named Ariel and a rather unhelpful creature named Caliban.
  • I hate working for Prospero, Caliban works for himself!
  • One day a ship carrying the King of Naples, the Prince of Naples, Gonzalo, the two evil men Antonio and Sebastien and Stephano and Triculo who are both drunk. Prospero immediately spots the ship and cast a great storm to bring the ship to the island. Everyone on board becomes seperated and casted onto the island.
  • What just happened?
  • Help us!!
  • Fernando, the Prince of Naples reaches safety first whilst hoping that his father is all right. Miranda spots him as she curiously searches for the survivors. She decided to investigate further. When the two young adults looked at each other, they instantly fell in love. When Prospero finds his daughter, he is not at all surprised to see the Prince of Naples standing in front of him.
  • O, if a virgin, And your affection not gone forth, I'll make you The queen of Naples.
  • My affections Are then most humble; I have no ambition To see a goodlier man.
  • One word more; I charge thee That thou attend me: thou dost here usurp The name thou owest not; and hast put thyself Upon this island as a spy, to win it From me, the lord on't.
  • Meanwhile Alonso the King of Naples was searching desperately for his son with Gonzalo and they fear that Fernando is gone. In the meantime, Antonio and Sebastien plot an evil plan to kill the king.
  • Fear not my king, we will find your son.
  • We will kill him at sundown... no one can stop us!
  • On the other side of the island, the jest Trinculo and Stephano are both drunk when Caliban finds them. The two drunks insist that Caliban should try a drink and the creature becomes drunk as well. Caliban then told them his sorrow story about how he became Prospero's slave. The two men shouted and cried that it was unjust! They then plot a plan to drive Prospero off the island for good. Caliban then promised Stephano that he could marry Miranda as well...
  • Why don't you have a drink?
  • Prospero had finally allowed Fernando and Miranda to wed after watching them being together for the whole day without being broken apart. They were absolutely thrilled to hear the great news.
  • Thank you, father.
  • It is my pleasure.
