Storyboard Text

  • (Rain Falling out of a Tree)
  • This is important because it forces cap to go to school later
  • This is important because his choice of clothing is odd.
  • Capricornorn Anderson
  • Cap About School: "I don't like it out there, I complained it was too crowded. People dress funny, they talk too fast, and all they're interested in, are Cell Phones, and Ipods. And Gameboys and Starbucks"
  • (Capricorn entering school)
  • (Zach introducing Cap to the lockers.)
  • Zach thinking about Cap: "Standing next to Mr. Kasigi is the strangest looking kid I have ever seen. He was tall and skinny as a rake. I swear he had never been anywhere near a barbershop in his life. Never before had anyone screamed for the job  of eighth grade president like Capricorn Anderson. This was my year!"
  • You turn the knobs right to left with the correct combination as so,
  • This is important because it shows Cap's confusion.
  • Rain and Cap are hippies that live in Garland. Rain fell out of a tree while she was picking plumbs, so Cap attempted to take her to a hospital. Due to this, he is sent to Mrs. Donnely because Rain is unable to care for him in the hospital.
  • This is important because it introduces one of the main characters to each other.
  • (Cap and Hugh meeting each other.)
  • Due to Cap being a hippy, he has never been to a public or private school before. His day was very disorienting. The reason for that is because he is unfamiliar with public schools. He meets Zach, and Hugh along the way.
  • This is important because it makes the students aware of his presence
  • (Cap being  elected class president.)
  • Cap is introduced to Zach Powers. Zach Powers was heavily amused by the stupidity Cap has towards society. Zach organized a plan for Cap to take Hugh's place as the biggest loser, and get elected as president.
  • This is important because it drives Zach to doing a bit more fatal pranks.
  • Hugh noticed Cap was sitting alone, so he sat next to him. Hugh feels passive-neutral towards Cap. Since he is an outcast too, he decided to tag along as an acquaintance .
  • At the exposition part of the story. a lot of people dislike Cap. They mainly treat him this way because he is an outcast. They mainly use spitballs to shoot at him, particularly give him funny looks, and such.
  • Cap reacts to most of the pranks or any form of attack against him with no reaction in particular.  Zach is irritated that he is not reacting to his pranks. Due to his actions against the pranks, he is slightly liked.
  • (Zach  putting a dead bird in Cap's locker, and seeing no reaction.)
