I think labor should be forced, so everyone will have to do it.
Do this work or you will get fired. The king wants people to do labor.
"We want to change the government laws!"
Firstly, Dale was in London around 1450. King Henry VI had a lot of power and made laws that were not right. Jack Cade has a rebellion and is trying to change these laws.
You know what, I agree with this chant.
All of a sudden, Dale was walking around London when he came across a man forcing a woman to do physical labor. Dale knew that was wrong and wanted to tell the man to stop, but he remembered he was a kid. When Dale got home he told his mom and sister what happened.
Why are they fighting??
Suddenly, a week later, Dale was walking around London again, but this time with Holly. He looked behind him and he saw a big group of people. As they came closer they were chanting.
I am giving you a pardon, so leave!
No! I want the rules changed. They are not right!
In no time, other people started to join in on the chant. Then they stopped the chant because of the violent acts some of the men were doing. Then people started to turn on the rebellion. This started a war.
Dale and Holly were filled with terror because they were witnessing a war right in front of them. Dale and Holly kept watching in terror. Most men were given a pardon. Most of them returned home.
One man was given a pardon, but he wouldn't go. He really wanted the rules changed. Then he was forced to go and the guards took him home.Although no laws were changed, this gave a reflection of how life should not be. You should not be forced to do labor. Doing labor should be optional. Nowadays you are not forced to do labor.
