YAY! We made it. When we got there it had just turned morning. We landed on a dirt trail that led us to this small city in Europe.
When we went inside there was homes and everything. We met two girls, Eva and Pauline. They were really nice to us. We walked around Europe for awhile and they Eva started to talk about the plague.
I was so confused on what the plague was but then Pauline explained it to Ivan and me. The plague is a contagious bacterial disease characterized by fever. Typically with the formation of bubbles , and sometimes infection of the lungs.
As soon as Pauline explained it to us I wanted to leave because I didn't want to get the plague. Eva was explaining to us the symptoms of the plague. She told us that we would get pain around the abdomen or muscles We would cough out blood, Can get fever, chills, fatigue, or malaise.
You could also get diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting. The common thing was bleeding, delirium, headache, phlegm, shortness of breath, or swollen and tender lymph node.
When she said we were going go visit the plague people I was so scared and started to cry. I don't think I have ever been so embarrassed in my whole life. Paulin told me not to worry and that everything is going to be goo. When I asked Pauline if she ever had gotten the plague she respond yes.......
