  • Protectors of the Fleece
  • Golden Fleece Captured
  • The Circe
  • Jason is given a way to defeat the serpent that is guarding the fleece. This is shown in the quote "A terrible serpent guarded the Fleece, but she would lull it to sleep." (Hamilton 131)
  • Pelias Dies
  • Jason claims the golden fleece and claims Medea as his bride. This is told in the quote "Jason rejoiced and raised her gently and embraced her, and promised her she would be his own wedded wife when they were back in Greece." (Hamilton 131)
  •
  • The Argo suggests that Jason and the other travel to seek purification from Circe. The Circe then cleanses them of the murder of Medea's brother. This is shown in the quote "It was entirely through his efforts that she was only to be exiled, not killed." (Hamilton 134)
  •
  • Medea calls upon Pelias' daughters to kill him, which they do. This is shown in the quote "Medea gave Pelias a potent sleeping-draught and called upon his daughters to cut him to bits." (Hamilton 133)
