  • Act 3 Scene 1
  • Banquo, thy souls flight, if it heaven, must find it out tonight
  • Act 3 Scene 2
  • Sleek o'er your rugged looks. Be bright and jovial among your guest tonight
  • Act 3 Scene 3
  •  There's but one down. The son is fled
  • Banquo is thinking about the prophecies. The witches said Macbeth would be king; if that prophecy came true then Banquo thinks why not his part.? Banquo is suspicious of Macbeth. He thinks Macbeth had something to do with Duncan's murder. Macbeth calls in two murders to kill Banquo because he's a threat
  • Act 3 Scene 4
  • Lady Macbeth is unhappy due to the fact that she wants more power and fame. Macbeth is also upest because of the sins he has done. Lady Macbeth tells him to stop thinking about the deeds. She tells him to hide his true feelings when the guest arrive.
  • Act 3 Scene 5
  • As by the strength of their illusion shall draw him on to his confusion.
  • The two murderers are joined by a third, who says that he has also been hired by Macbeth. Banquo and Fleance enter the area with the murderers . The murderers attack Banquo but Fleance manages to escape. The murderers leave to report back to Macbeth.
  • Act 3 Scene 6
  • At the banquet, a murderer arrives and reports to Macbeth just as the dinner guests begin to arrive. He informs Macbeth that Banquo is dead but Fleance has escaped. Shaken, Macbeth thanks him for what he has done. Macbeth sees Banquo's ghost and freaks out in front of his subjects
  • Thou canst not say I did it. Never shake thy glory locks at me
  • the withes meet Hecate, the Queen of the witches. she uses alot of imagery to tell the witches that Macbeth will come meet them and they need to put on  a dramatic show for him. they are asked to basically flakily foreshadow Macbeths future.
  • Lennox is talking to another Noble about how Macduff fled to England to join forces with Malcolm. he also talks about how Fleance was concluded to be the murderer of his own father. Lennox finds this hard to believe. They think Macbeth has taken the crown wrongfully.
  • The son of Duncan- From whom this tyrant holds the due of birth
