It is a beautiful day today to be on the beach... but it is so hot!!
What are those??
That is because of three different types of heat: Convection, Conduction, and Radiation
Convection is the act of cold air sinking and the warm air rising. This is because of the warm air is less dense than the warmer region, which creates a circular cycle
But where is the act of convection happening?
The sea breeze is an example of convection. It rises and sinks causing heat to move to the shore, making us hot.
So Convection is when warm air rises up and cold air sinks because cold air is denser than the warmer air. When it sinks, it becomes warmer than the air above, which makes a circular cycle, like the sea breeze.
OHHHH! My feet are burning!
That is because of conduction
