My parents grew up in Puke, Albania and lived on a farm situated between mountains. This storyboard is about my mam's mountain life in comparison to my 8th grade life in Stamford, Connecticut.
She had 7 siblings, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters, and they lived in a small house that has been passed through generation. Her morning would be similar to mine as she 'd wake up prepare food with her siblings, get dressed and ready for school around 6:00 am.
To get to school, there wasn't any car or bus so she would hike through forest and hill along with her 2 sisters who would go to the same school. The school was a small building made a rocks that other families would travel to from villages.
when she arrived, it would of been 8:00 already and she would stay in school for a couple more hours in a small classroom with a few students until 2:00 when school would end for today and she'd make another journey home stopping by the village for errands.
When she got home, she would make sure to feed the chickens, and cows. She would then do any homework, chores and eat dinner. When done, she would either play outside, draw or read, or play with the animals and her siblings.
As day came to night, she would get ready for bed around 9:00 pm. She had 7 siblings that slept in two separate rooms but it still got crowded in a small room of 4. This pretty much concluded her day and 7th grade Life.
