Characters: Narrator (girl), Mom Setting: Home Events Happening: The narrators mom is watching Shirley Temple, when she gets the idea that her daughter could be like her, famous! The narrator is already not liking the idea.
WHAT WERE YOU THINKING! YOU ARE A FAIL OF A CHILD!
Characters: Narrator, Piano Instructor (Mr. Chong) Setting: The Piano instructors home Events Happening: Mr. Chong is teaching the narrator how to play the piano. But the narrator does not like it.

Characters: Narrator, mom (in the audience), audience Setting: Talent Show Events Happening: The narrator is playing in the Talent Show, but she is too distracted thinking about how pretty she looks that night. So, she misses many notes and dissapointes her mom.
Characters: Narrator, mom Setting: Narrators Home Events happening: After the talent show fiasco, the narrators mom gets mad at her for missing all the notes and making a foul of herself. The narrator and her mom have a harsh fight. After the fight, the narrator stopped having piano lessons.
