Storyboard Text

  • Father and son Archaic talk about atlatls.
  • Son, an atlatl is a tool to help us catch fish and also you have to see ten winters to use one and you son, have only seen eight.
  • Father what is an atlatl and when can I use one?
  • Meanwhile, about 3015 years later...
  • This newspaper is exhilarating! First, it tells me that the Hopewell culture were the first to garden or invent corn/maize which is a lot of what Ohio makes it's money from. Next, as if that wasn't amazing enough, the Hopewell people also invented the bow and arrow for stuff like hunting and war. So many surprises in one day!
  • I've got to get up!
  • CRACK!
  • Did you read the article that said there was a time machine that can take you back to the past to see historical times yourself?
  • KNOCK!
  • Where is the time machine?
  • I wonder if that time machine can take you back to the time when the Adena people buried their dead in mounds.
  • Columbus, Ohio!
  • Lane Ave.
  • By the way, that building looks old, like it was from the time the Indians used animal skins for the outside of houses.
  • Off to see the time machine!
  • See Time Machine Here!
  • Hello Mr. Time Machine!
  • 800 B.C., the Adena culture's time.
