In the early days of the arctic, it was full of thick, white snow as if it was a huge blanket covering the ice.
Then that beautiful blanket of snow started to melt a bit and left some ice
Now the ice is melting even more because of global warming and climate change. If it wasn't for this there would be a lot more sea ice left in the arctic
Some parts of the arctic looks a lot worse and it makes the animals surrounded with fresh water and not all of them can swim that well.
Soon in the future (if we don't do anything about it now) then the arctic will be just like this with no snow what so ever and it would be harder for the animals to find a habitat and they would die away because they have no snow to camouflage in then it will become easier for poachers to hunt then down.
Now if we don't look after the world then we could put the animals and our lives in danger.
