The Revolutionary Government
The people of France decided to create their own government consisted of three branches. The First Estate, Second Estate, and Third Estate.
The Reign Of Terror
The citizens of France decided they wanted to free the prisoners and steal all the weapons that were in there. So they invaded the prison and stole weapons.
The Third Estate broke off from the Three Estate system and formed the National Assembly. They created a new constitution in an indoor tennis court that made the government more fair by redirecting the power to make laws and collect taxes to a group called the Legislative Assembly.
About 40,000 people were executed using the guillotine. The guillotine became a symbol of horror. This device was used to get rid of a lot of corrupt officials.
When Napoleon came to power, he gave many more citizens the right to property and access to education. Restoring the economic prosperity by taking control over the prices. He also encouraged new industry and built roads and canals. as well as ensuredwell-trained officials and military officers.
