Storyboard Text

  • Mr. Parris remarks, "I think I ought to say that I--I saw a kettle...where they were dancing" and it had a frog in it (Miller 1258).
  • Parris overcome with sobbing, takes Betty's hand and whispers, "Betty. Child. Dear child. Will you wake, will you open your eyes! Betty, little one..." (Miller 1237).
  • "We danced. That is all. And mark this! Let either of you breathe a word...about the other things, and I will come to you in the black of some terrible night and I will bring a pointy reckoning to shudder you" (Miller 1244).
  • --"We never touched, Abby."                       --"Aye, but we did." --"Aye, but we did not." (Miller 1246)
  • Mr. Hale has arrived to Salem: "We shall need hardy study if it comes to tracking down the Old Boy" (Miller 1255).
  • "Pray, you, someone take these!" (Miller 1255)
  • "I'm sick of meetings..." (Miller 1249).
  • "I saw George Jacobs, Goody Howe, Goody Sibber, Alice Barrow, Goody Hawkins, Bibber, Booth with the devil" (Miller 1262-1263).
