Today we are going to learn how to make mandalas with geometric shapes.
We are going to use these shapes today in our creation, triangle, octagon, circle and diamond.
Select a shape to be the center of your mandala, you can use that shape again in your pattern, but the center plays a large role in determining what form your mandala will take. There is no wrong choice.
Once you have picked the center shape, select another shape to surround the center. Ideally this shape would be a different color than the center shape.
Look at all of the choices and sizes that you have and pick the ones that you like. Ideally you should select a different color for each ring.
For the third ring of your mandala select another shape, make sure it is a different color so that you an really see all of the different rings of your mandala.
