  • "Stand your ground, don't fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war let it begin here." John Parker
  • Bunker Hill Massachusetts April, 1775
  • Trenton New Jersey December,1776
  • The battle was the first battle of the Revolutionary War. Leading the Americans was Captain John Parker and leading the British was General Gage. The Americans won the battle by pushing back British forces
  • Saratoga New York October, 1777
  • The battle of Bunker hill left the British in great lost and showed Americans strength. The leader of the Americans was william Prescott. And who lead the British was General Wowe. "Don't fire 'til you see the whites of their eyes.”
  • Valley Forge Pennsylvania winter 1777- 1778
  • The Americans won. They also captured 1000 heistians. The leader of the Americans was Geroge Washington.  
  • Fort Sackville Northwest Territory May 1778
  • It caused Europeans hatians to think that the Americans might win their war of Independence. The Partriots  won the battle, and it was the turning point of the war.
  • John brooks wrote that the army stayed because they "love of our country". Washington lead the Americans.
  • British took control of Fort Detroit on Lake Erie. Leader for the Americans was Geroge Clark. The leader for the British was Herny Haurtion.
