Storyboard Text

  • Jane the midwife is suspicious over why Emma Blunt wants Alyce to help, instead of asking Jane herself.
  • My mother wants Alyce and Alyce only!
  • Why does she need that dung beetle instead of me?
  • Come on Matthew! Let's get out of here!
  • Jane the midwife is furious, and Matthew and Alyce run away to Emma's cottage.
  • Fine, go "Alyce"! You eat my bread, but now you want to leave!
  • Let's go!
  • I don't think I can do this. Go get the midwife Matthew!
  • Alright, Alyce!
  • Alyce doesn't believe she can deliver the baby, so she tells Matthew to call the midwife.
  • Thank you Jane!
  • Jane the midwife delivers the baby, but Alyce is not satisfied with herself.
  • Ugh, I can't do this anymore!
  • Yes! The baby is here!
  • Alyce runs away from Emma's cottage because the midwife delivered the baby, and she felt disappointed.
  • Ugh, the midwife came! Why does she have to be so smart? I couldn't even deliver that baby.
  • Alyce is talking to herself in the middle of nowhere about how she's a failure because she couldn't deliver Emma's baby, but the midwife did.
  • I'm such a failure. I don't wanna go back to their cottage anymore. I'm nothing.
