I walked into the cafe that day, observing the dirty floor, with mice and worms. The brown tiles reminded me of dirt.
I sat down at the table. Moe sat down with me. He shook my hand.
I can’t handle the cafe anymore, and I’d like to sell it to you for $20.
It had always been my dream to be a chef and own a restaurant. I grew up cooking for my ill mother. This allowed me to make new discoveries with my dishes, and therefore create my own recipes. I walked into Moe’s Cafe.
Tell me when you make a desicion.
I delicately picked the menu up and looked at what was on the menu. I stared at the words, ‘rat steak with a side of baby snakes, cockroach salad with moldy cheese, worms on a skewer, and mystery stuffed potato.’
I realized this could be my dream. This could be everything I’ve ever wanted. I carefully decided on whether or not I should buy the cafe. It would be a lot of work and money to clean the place, and to fully redecorate it.
I knew it would take savings to change the way the cafe looked, but at least the sale price was very low. I sat back down and saw Moe bringing my food.
I noticed Moe was staring at me, waiting for my answer. I decided I would have to clean the place, but I was going to buy it.
